Summer Programs

Team Titanium is proud of our extensive science, engineering, and robotics summer programs for younger students. Our series of camps includes multiple levels of science and engineering, multiple levels of FLL instruction, and a FTC-sized robotics camp. Our summer series is designed to inspire and introduce kids to science and technology fields, and attract them to the world of FIRST. These summer sessions not only fulfill our mission of promoting STEM education and spreading the message of FIRST, they also provide funds for our team, and attract future members to ours and other teams.
Team Titanium has increased its offering of week-long summer programs each year, from 2 in 2008, to 4 in 2009 to 6 in 2010. Camps introduce younger students to the world of science and engineering, introduce elementary students to FLL, and expose middle school students to FRC through a more advanced robotics league.

Planning and carrying out four distinct programs is a lot of hard work, and requires our team members to donate a significant portion of their summer to this effort. We find the experience to be very rewarding, and enjoy it almost as much as the participants.

We have reached nearly 400 elementary and middle school students with our summer programs over the last three years.
